About CertainTeed Roofing Technologies

CertainTeed roofing shingles use the newest, proprietary technologies to make sure that they deliver the highest quality roofing products to their customers. They have developed several technologies that help roofing contractors build better and more efficient homes.

Quadra Bond

CertainTeed's Quadra Bond technology helps to secure the different layers of CertainTeed roofing shingles together. This will help your roof stay safe against wind and weather so they always look beautiful. These shingles feature an “industry best“ four points of adhesion. This helps create excellent quality and reliability against your CertainTeed roofing shingles delaminating.

Streak
Fighter

Street fighter technology from Certainteed helps protect your roof against those ugly black stains that are often times caused by the formation of algae. It’s the copper-infused granules on the surface of the shingles, with their natural algae fighting properties that work to prevent algae from growing on CertainTeed roofing shingles. This helps your roof keep its original color.

Certa
Seal

Certa Seal from Certainteed is a high-grade adhesive that helps seal your shingles together on your roof. This protects your roof against the wind causing an uplift that can blow shingles off your roof and allow moisture to infiltrate. Because this high-grade adhesive is not like other harder sealants., They won’t try out and crack. This sealant remains pliable. This will accommodate small shifts in the structure of your roof that can happen after years of temperature and weather changes. Using this technology, CertainTeed roofing shingles can stand up the harsh and sometimes severe weather changes we experience in Northern Arizona.

Nail
Trak

Certain teed‘s Nail Trak wide nailing system helps roofing contractors install shingles faster and with more accuracy. There is no guesswork with the nail track system. The system provides three individually defined lines that give a large area that guides nailing and a smaller area for those Steep sloping roof applications
